APAC Global Advisory has selected Sue Low as our packaging designer global solutions to co-create in order to deliver exceptional design value to our clients who have globalization ambitions.

With over 30 years experience in both the design and retail industry, she is highly skilled not only in the creative design concept and end-to-end deliver of packaging and design but also the project management of Fast Moving Consumer Goods. Sue has two decades as an in-house designer for Waitrose & Partners (the food retail division of Britain’s largest employee owned retailer, the John Lewis Partnership). Sue is now in demand with global retailers such as Marks & Spencer, Paperchase and Thornton’s, providing packaging and design solutions for food, beauty and lifestyle products, from her own design house.

Sue also brings with her 7 years experience at the cutting-edge of Singapore's branded packaging design scene. From 1991-98, she rose up the ranks at both Addison Design Consultants and the then Su Yeang Design (Citigate Su Yeang and subsequently Holmes & Marchant)- where her clients include Singapore and Asian brands from Asia Pacific Breweries, Fraser & Neave, Nestle (Indonesia), Gardenia Foods - QAF, Super Group, Malee (Thailand), Mataar Tilaar Suriayu ( Indonesia).

Sue is a strong advocate of innovative yet also targeted design solutions that are perfectly tailored to the individual client. Her strength in understanding the client’s needs and end goals are central to creating design solutions that are on brief and focused from the onset. She believes in Collaborative strategies that are key, working in partnership with clients to guide them through the exploratory stages of design to help them choose the right solutions that not only work for them but also challenge and stretch their brand.

As on and off-line retail becomes ever more competitive and consumers are bombarded with choice, brands need solutions with strong credentials that can stand out above the crowd and bring positive impact to the marketplace. With insights garnered from the APAC Global Advisory, her aim is to deliver design that makes a difference in the world of FMCG to create clear and targeted packaging design that sells.
