Wong Mei Wai bolsters AGA team with packaging and eCommerce specialists

APAC Global Advisory (AGA) has brought on board Sue Low (pictured left) and Jeanette Lau (pictured right) as part of its co-creation satellites, boosting its range of “hand picked” specialist skills that co-create change solutions with AGA.

Low, who brings with her end-to-end packaging design global solutions expertise, will be in charge of packaging design global solutions while Lau will be responsible for eCommerce due to her experience in the field. Both ladies will be key anchors of the end-to-end change journey for AGA’s clients, adding on to the expertise of AGA’s leadership comprised of founder, CEO and chief change catalyst Wong Mei Wai, creative change catalyst Tay Guan Hin and consumer insights change catalyst Kwan Chong Wah.

Low has more than 30 years of experience in both the design and retail industry. She is knowledgeable in creative design concepts, end-to-end delivery of packaging and design, as well as in the project management of fast moving consumer goods. She spent two decades as an in-house designer for Waitrose & Partners, the food retail division of British retailer the John Lewis Partnership, where she took brands global. She also has seven years of experience on Singapore’s branded packaging design scene. Low has worked with clients including Asia Pacific Breweries, Fraser & Neave, the Super Group and Lam Soon Group.

Meanwhile, Lau has 15 years of experience delivering cloud, mobile and eCommerce solutions to enterprises, bringing Change in the way businesses sell. Her eCommerce platform work includes Robinsons, Aspial, Bolon Eyewear, Creative Technology and Singapore Press Holdings. This often includes working with the cross-functional internal teams across marketing, sales, promotions, merchandising, visual merchandising and store operations. Lau has also played key mobile creative roles in large scale mobile branding and design projects for clients including VisitBritain, French Tourism Board, AVA Singapore and IE Singapore.

Meanwhile, AGA also launched its executive search for change leader, who specialises in appointing senior change positions for clients to turn around or take branded businesses to the next stage of growth. Wong is particularly interested in ensuring the right talent is in place through the change process, with the right organisational structure in reorganisation and coaching, to ensure change leaders are psychologically and technically enabled to deliver sustainable successful change.

According to Wong, the team is seeing increasing competition of fast moving consumer goods and on and offline retailers are under pressure to take their brands to the next stage of growth, or to face disruption by the competition.

“We believe to achieve our purpose to accelerate branded businesses through enabling change, we need to find the appropriate talent and experts with a passion behind effecting end-to-end change successfully through the seamless change journey. With Low’s ’blue-chip yet bespoke’ global packaging experience and Lau’s hands-on ability on eCommerce, they will contribute significantly to the change equation with our clients,” Wong said.
